Outreach

The Master’s University desires to be the bridge between our students and ministry opportunities, both local and global. We understand and emphasize the Great Commission by creating programs focused on evangelism. Through partnership with churches and agencies from the U.S. and other countries, we help mobilize students to use their talents and professional training to serve the Kingdom of God.

I grew up in Murrieta, CA. I have two younger sisters and my parents are both teachers. Life was always busy and adventurous, but my parents constantly reminded to seek God and His wisdom first. They exemplified what it means to be a Christ-follower and exemplified how to live by faith. I didn’t start truly believing this until high school, when I began to understand that nothing about me is good, and that Christ came, died, and rose again so that I could fall in God’s grace through Him. I was hungry to learn more about who God was and I desired to deepen my relationship with Christ. Master’s as the university I chose because of my soccer coach, Jim Rickard, and the campus’s strong dedication to Christ and Scripture. I played soccer for TMU for 4 years, where I got to meet many international students who would become my best friends. I studied liberal studies with an emphasis in education. Studying in Israel (IBEX) completely changed my life and stirred up my heart for the global church and missions. I lead a Global Outreach (GO) team to Albania for two months and my heart continued to grow a desire for missions. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Education. I went on to pursue a teaching credential at TMU to teach in elementary schools. My desire is to be unashamed of the gospel, like Romans 1:16 says, and live my life radically to glorify the Lord. Proverbs 16:9 reminds me that while I may plan my way, the Lord directs my steps. I am thrilled to serve as the Director of Outreach and International Student Advancement at TMU. My plan is to pursue a graduate degree and eventually use my teaching credential in a cross-cultural context to serve the church and share the good news of Jesus Christ to the unreached. I love the international community, the GO teams, and the connections we have with missionaries around the world here at TMU. Our goal at TMU is to be faithful ambassadors both locally and globally.

ENGAGE is a ministry experience designed to inspire and mobilize our students to serve our local community. We want our students to recognize the opportunities we have to build relationships with people in our community, both believers and unbelievers. With this goal in mind, we cancel classes and break up into small teams to work with churches, non-profits, businesses and our community through service projects.
