The Master’s University is a private Christian university in a rural, rustic canyon surrounded by Southern California suburbs. Abner Chou is one of many gospel-driven, influential teachers who preach at TMU’s chapel services, which are a requirement for students to attend three times each week during the semester.

Last week, construction was completed on a new historical display of “TMU Through The Years.” Events on this timeline include TMU’s founding as Los ...Angeles Baptist Theological Seminary in 1927, Dr. John MacArthur being named president in 1985, the establishment of The Master’s Seminary in 1986, and Dr. Abner Chou becoming president in 2022. Space remains for recognizing continued developments, God permitting, as the institution approaches its 100-year milestone. If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by the Robert F. Powell library to celebrate all God has done through this school.
