Dual Enrollment Students-Winterim Astronomy Course

Dr. Jason Lisle, a globally recognized Christian astrophysicist will be teaching Winterim Astronomy at The Master’s University this January 2019. Dr. Lisle specializes in solar astrophysics and has made a number of scientific discoveries regarding the solar photosphere, including the detection of giant cell boundaries using the SOHO spacecraft. He has dedicated his life to the communication of the gospel through science, and is focused on equipping others to do the same with his full-time work in apologetics ministry.

Astronomy PS138 Lecture

  • January 3-5 8:30am - 1:00pm

  • January 8-10 8:30am - 1:00pm

  • Lecture course is 3 units total

  • Cost: $165/unit

Astronomy PS138 Lab

  • January 3-5 7:00pm - 9:00pm

  • January 8-9 7:00pm - 9:00pm

  • Lab counts as 1 unit total

  • Cost: $165/unit

The astronomy lab and lecture with Dr. Lisle will count as elective credit.

Dual enrollment students have the option to take the lab as a separate course for credit. They can obtain either lecture of lab credit or both for their general education science requirement.
