The use of the Fitness Center is for students, faculty/staff, and authorized members of The Master’s University. We no longer provide memberships to outside individuals.

Cardiovascular equipment: treadmills, elliptical machine, elliptical cross trainer, spin bikes, recumbent bikes
Selectorized weight equipment: pin loaded and extremely user friendly, wide variety of machines for various muscle groups
Plate loaded barbells and free weights with urethane plates and easy grip handles
Urethane Dumbbells, weights ranging from 5lb to 100lbs
Cubbies to store small gym bag or equipment.
Televisions with cable located in the cardiovascular area.
Additional equipment including but not limited to: medicine balls, kettlebells and exercise balls
The Athletic Department reserves the rights to address any situation that may arise, which may not be specifically covered in the policies and procedures. The use of the Fitness Center is a privilege. Any individual who violates the policies and procedures, acts inappropriately toward a Fitness Center employee, or initiates behavior that is intimidating or threatening to anyone will be asked to leave the facility. They may be denied access to the facility after the incident has occurred.
Children. All children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children may not be left unattended at any time inside the Fitness Center. The child’s supervisor will be held accountable for any unsupervised, inappropriate, or dangerous actions by the child.
Appropriate Attire. Shirts and closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times. Follow TMU dress code.
Spotters. Free weights (overhead or chest) should be used with spotters at all times. If an individual is working out without a spotter and the exercise looks hazardous or if they continually drop the weights they will be asked to get a spotter or discontinue the exercise. The fitness center attendant should not be a spotter for any patrons.
Re-rack weights. Patrons are responsible to re-rack their weights after use.
Towels. Sweat towels are provided by the Fitness Center and should not be removed from the facility. Towels should be left in receptacles after use.
Equipment. All fitness center equipment must remain inside and cannot leave the facility. Each patron should wipe down equipment after use with the provided equipment towels. Equipment towels should be left in receptacles after use.
