I was born in British Columbia, Canada, but grew up in Chad, Africa, where my family served as missionaries. Being an MK truly shaped my upbringing and created cherished memories. It fostered an appreciation for diverse cultures, a thirst for adventure, and strong family bonds. Moreover, it immersed me in God’s Word and the gospel, which were at the core of our daily lives.
During my middle and high school years back in Canada, my parents’ unwavering faith and the solid biblical teaching in my church led me to confront my sin and surrender my life to Christ as my Lord and Savior.
As I began to search for a college where I could deepen my knowledge of Scripture, nurture my love for the Lord, and still actively pursue athletics, God graciously led me to The Master’s University. For four years, I had the privilege of being a student-athlete, even though my major and sport changed along the way. Eventually, I found myself on the Cross Country and Track and Field team, where I competed at the national championships in both disciplines. However, injuries prevented me from participating in races for several seasons, affording me the invaluable opportunity to support and serve my team from the sidelines. As the team manager, I also gained experience in recruitment, delighting in sharing the transformative power of a Christ-centered education that firmly stands on the infallible Word of God.
Throughout my time at TMU, the Lord used my teammates, coaches, and the remarkable classes and chapels I attended to guide me in living a life that brings glory to Him. Encouraged by the investment of the believers in my community, who passionately help young individuals become Christ’s ambassadors and influencers for His kingdom in their various callings, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do the same as an Admissions Counselor at TMU!
