High School Requirements: 4 Years of English, 3 Years of Math, 2 Years of Science, 2 Years of History, no Foreign Language Requirement.
A minimum high school GPA of 2.75 is required.
TMU accepts ACT, SAT or CLT scores. Scores are optional for admissions and enrollment, but required for academic scholarships.
Minimum SAT score of 1020 (combined critical reading / math) or minimum ACT score of 21. Average SAT score is 1150 and average ACT score is 24 Note: The essay portions of both exams are not required. A minimum CLT score of 61 is recommended. See more CLT details here.
The Master’s University invites all students who are serious about realizing their calling as a Christian. All students, staff, and faculty are required to proclaim faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
Once admitted, your financial aid application is automatically submitted to our financial aid office. This does not include the FAFSA, so be sure to complete it at fafsa.ed.gov with our Federal School Code 001220. Students may also complete additional applications for Music, Athletics, and outside scholarships.
We offer merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, and federal/state Aid. In general, all aid is awarded up to 4 years/8 semesters and evenly disbursed between the two semesters.
Student must complete their application (opens September 1) and be admitted prior to November 1st.
Recipients of this scholarship pay zero tuition. This unique scholarship, which honors Dr. John P. Stead, combines all existing financial aid which a student receives, then supplements the remaining amount to offer a full tuition scholarship. Five scholarships are awarded each year.
Apply for this scholarship by submitting an essay addressing the question “Why is biblical anthropology vital to how the Church responds on issues involving race and culture?”
These scholarships are available to new students whose parents hold a degree from The Master’s University (TMU), The Master’s College (TMC), or Los Angeles Baptist College (LABC).
Awarded to students who receive sponsorship from a Christian ministry. TMU will match, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to a total of $1,500 per student, as long as funds remain available, totaling $12,000 across 4 years.
