This is how you will know which of the classes you already completed will be accepted by TMU specifically from your school. We recommend only taking classes from this list, since it is guaranteed that they will transfer to TMU.
TMU currently has articulation agreements with colleges in the following states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington.

If you are ordering your transcripts through Parchment, our school name is spelled precisely as: “Master`s University And Seminary” (we recommend you copy+paste)
Once you are admitted, TMU will have your official transcript evaluated by our registrar and let you know the official results.
Your financial aid application will be automatically submitted to our financial aid office. This does not include the FAFSA, so be sure to complete it at studentaid.gov with our Federal School Code 001220. Students may also complete additional applications for Music, Athletics, and outside scholarships.
We offer merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, and federal/state Aid. In general, all aid is awarded up to 4 years/8 semesters and evenly disbursed between the two semesters.

A transfer student is defined as a student who enters TMU with at least 24 semester units (36 quarter units) of accepted college level coursework from another college or university.
College-level credit earned prior to high school graduation, as well as any credit by examination, does not count toward determining whether a student has reached transfer status.
Coursework completed after initial entry will not change this status.
TMU grants credit for college-level coursework from other colleges and universities based on the following criteria:
Good standing
The student must have good standing at the institutions previously attended. Students who have been dismissed or suspended from another college for disciplinary reasons must request that a letter be sent by the dean of the college involved, detailing the reasons for such dismissal. Minimum grade requirement No courses will be transferred in which the grade earned was less than C (2.0). Credit will be given for accepted courses that will apply to the student’s course of study at The Master’s University.
Examination: 32 units max
Military: 45 units max. 30 units max towards TMU G.E. requirements.
Life Experience: 24 units max
Students transferring ≤60 units must complete all 21 units of the Biblical Studies G.E. curriculum prior to graduation.
Students transferring ≥61 units will only need to satisfy one Bible G.E. course per full-time semester of enrollment starting
with their first traditional undergraduate semester until graduation.
For students transferring ≥ 61 units the first four Bible G.E. courses must be:
Some Bible coursework at other institutions may be accepted by the Registrar’s office to satisfy TMU’s G.E. requirements.

If your college is not listed, please submit the name of the college, the name/code/description of the course(s) to for approval.
The department chair of the desired major will evaluate each class individually. To do so, they will need the school name, course code, and brief description of the classes you are trying to transfer to TMU. Contact your Admissions Counselor for further information and instructions.
If a student has taken at least 24 units post-high school graduation, they do not need to send SAT or ACT scores unless otherwise requested.
