To graduate, students must complete a minimum of 121 semester units of credit to graduate, including a minimum of 40 semester units in upper division courses and all General Education (58 Units) requirements, which includes the Scripture Set (21) and Worldview and skills set (37).

Emphases

• Applied Mathematics (50 units): This program equips students with skills for careers in data science, statistics, modeling, and operations research. Courses include Probability, Mathematical Statistics, and Numerical Analysis. Graduates pursue roles in data science and tech, with alumni at companies like Google and IBM.

• Mathematics Education (48 units): This program prepares students for teaching roles with courses like Modern Geometry and Number Theory, plus an option for a California Teaching Credential. It equips students for teaching in schools or universities.

• Pre-Engineering (49 units):  This program supports engineering careers with courses like General Physics I-II and Numerical Analysis, which are ideal for transfer to engineering programs. It also prepares students for roles at companies like Boeing and PG&E through physics and modeling courses.

• Pure Mathematics (50 units): Perfect for grad school or theoretical roles, with courses like Abstract Algebra and Real Analysis (great for grad school prep). Ideal for academic research or high-tech roles needing theoretical expertise (e.g., National Science Foundation).

Minors

The Biblical Studies minor requires 24 units of coursework. Most students typically complete these courses as part of their standard four-year degree plan. The classes include:
