Mr. Suzuki hails from Karuizawa, Japan, where he was born and raised. He earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Citadel Bible College and an M.Div. in Old Testament and Semitic Languages and Literature from Talbot Theological Seminary. Currently, he is ABD (All But Dissertation) and completing his Ph.D. in Humanities at The University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on rhetoric. His dissertation, titled “Exo-Rhetoric: Teaching for/against Techno-Capitalist Classroom,” explores the intersection of rhetoric and technology in education. His academic expertise lies in postmodernism, along with contemporary rhetorical, critical, and cultural theories.

Before joining TMU, Mr. Suzuki taught English at both Texas Wesleyan University and The University of Texas at Arlington.

Outside academia, Mr. Suzuki and his wife, Coral, are proud parents to two daughters and one son. A passionate sports fan, he avidly supports the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Mavericks. In his free time, he enjoys reading books on conceptual systems and philosophy.
