Welcome to The Master’s University!
There are a few things you need to know about who we are, our mission, and my heart for you and your family as the leader of the Master’s Campus Safety Team. I hope this encourages you to pray for us.
The members of the Master’s Campus Safety Department are committed to live in loving Christian relationship with each and every individual person we come into contact with. We understand that we cannot control whether we will be trusted, respected, or liked, but we can in dependence on God’s Holy Spirit, control our hearts and attitudes toward others.
In terms of my leadership, I personally want to exemplify the “Spirit” of Jesus Christ over mere obedience to the “law,” but my team has a security role that is similar to a civil servant. We are God’s servant for good, which includes a calling to serve and protect. Will you pray for us as we pursue peace and look to be peacekeepers in our role on campus? I’d ask that you pray in line with our department motto (Psalm 127:1), “Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
Mighty God – we commit the students, faculty, staff, guests, and ourselves into your hands and ask that you help us be strong and courageous but serve with an attitude of love and compassion. Help us not overlook the things that really matter – people and their growth in Jesus Christ – because we are too committed to our mission. Oh Lord Jesus – give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and above all – a heart to love you and others in all we do. Forgive us when we do not do this and help us be open and teachable to our community when we wrong them. Lord – we share a common bond in Christ with the believers in this community and we seek to exercise our gifts and talents in dependence on you and your Holy Spirit. May we each do our part to respect, obey, serve, and if called upon – boldly protect, in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ – Amen.

The Campus Safety Department works in close partnership with the Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s Department, who have stations within close proximity to the University. The Campus Safety Department plays one part in a larger Emergency Management Plan which the college incorporates to facilitate effective coordination of resources in any emergency. In the event of a life threatening emergency, cellular text messages to registered users will be distributed to communicate important instructions on how Faculty, Staff, and Students should respond.

The Daily Crime & Fire Log includes a record of all crimes reported to campus safety that occurred anywhere within the department’s patrol jurisdiction and all fires reportedly occurring in the residence halls over the past 60 days. The log is designed to provide timelier details and greater information to the campus community than the annual statistical disclosures.
In accordance with the Clery Act regulations, records are retained for three years from the latest publication of the report to which they apply. To inspect archived copies of the daily crime log, please stop by the campus safety business office during weekday business hours and request to speak with the Director of Campus Safety (holidays and weekends excepted). The law allows the department two business days to meet your request.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Notification is hereby given to the public of the intent of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide assistance to the Master’s University and Seminary, located at 21726 Placerita Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91321 (34.384633, -118.516639)for the installation of bollards, cameras, and network video recorders.
Because of its location in a Special Flood Hazard Area, this facility is susceptible to flooding and storm induced erosion. Under the President’s Executive Order 11988, Floodplain Management, FEMA is required to review opportunities to relocate the facility out of the floodplain or to minimize future damage from flooding. Public comment is invited on possible alternatives to this action and methods to protect the facility.
Interested persons may obtain information about this action and its specific location by emailing . Comments about this project and the application of the Floodplain Management Executive Order to it should be submitted via email to by December 16, 2022. This public notice will also serve as the final public notice provided there are no questions or concerns regarding this project.
