Jim served TMU as  the Mustangs’ head coach for 32 seasons and was named NAIA Men’s Soccer National Coach of the Year in 2009, GSAC Coach of the Year twice, and NCCAA National Coach of the Year four times. Under his leadership, TMU secured NCCAA national championships in 1993, 2001, and 2007, and made a remarkable run to the championship game of the NAIA national tournament in 2009. Rickard, an NAIA All-American player himself, has been instrumental in developing 30 NAIA All-Americans and was inducted into The Master’s University Hall of Fame in 2011. Beyond his coaching, Rickard focuses on spiritual growth for his players through a year-long discipleship program. He lives in Santa Clarita with his family and balances coaching with his work at the Stewardship Services Foundation.
