Assistant Professor of Communication, Director of Theatre Arts
Tricia was brought on to revive and build the TMU Theatre Arts program in 2008. Committed to the sufficiency and authority of Scripture in authentic, truthful storytelling, she strives for a Biblical worldview and approach to understanding acting and the performing arts. She teaches various classes in theatre arts, introductory and advanced acting, production, production design, and spoken communication through the Communication Department. She also enjoys individual acting coaching. Tricia has directed and produced more than two dozen full length plays and musicals, produced live concerts and events, production designed for film, performed in over a dozen roles on stage and film, and continues to act whenever possible in various mediums. Tricia and her husband, Dave – Pastor of Equipping at Calvary Baptist Santa Barbara – met here at Master’s as students and count it a joy and privilege to have served together in ministry for over twenty years and counting.
