Dr. Scott is an adjunct professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University, in Santa Clarita, CA; Director of Membership Services for the Association of Biblical Counselors (ACBC); Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and the Executive Director of One-Eighty Ministries – a church-based non-profit organization that provides biblical counseling, education and training, and consulting services to churches and the community. His primary responsibility is teaching in the graduate program of the biblical counseling at The Master’s University. Stuart has over thirty-five years of experience in counseling and pastoral ministry. He is also busy as a Fellow with ACBC. He is an accomplished author and some of his well-known writings include, “The Exemplary Husband” and booklets titled, “From Pride to Humility” and “Anger, Anxiety and Fear.” He is married to his wife Zondra and they have two grown children and two grandchildren.
Pastor Tyson was born and raised in a Christian home in Georgia. After attending medical school he became a physician’s assistant and worked in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in Savannah for four years. While serving in his local church he felt an overwhelming desire to pursue the glory of God through theological training and the opportunity to serve the LORD in full-time ministry. Adam had the privilege of attending The Master’s Seminary where he earned a M.Div. (2005) and a D.Min. (2013). He served as an associate pastor of student ministries and outreach at Lakeside Bible Church in Montgomery, Texas for seven years. Adam has a passion for expository preaching, biblical counseling, missions, and for reaching the community of Santa Clarita with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He is a frequent speaker at The Master’s University and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Counseling there. Adam has been married to his wife, Lisa, since 2004 and they have been blessed with five children.
Dr. John D. Street is the Department Chair of the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling Program and Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University & Seminary. He is a Fellow and the President of the Board of Trustees of the ACBC. He received his BA from Cedarville University, M.Div. from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and D.Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary. He has served as an Assistant Professor at both Cedarville and Cornerstone Universities. He was the founding Pastor of Clearcreek Chapel. He frequently travels doing training conferences and has published numerous books. He is an elder at Grace Community Church and a Pastor of the Joint Heirs Fellowship group. Dr. Street is married to Janie, and they have four children: Krista, Melissa, James and Jay. He is a grandfather of six grandchildren.
Mark serves as the Director of Graduate Studies and Adjunct Professor in Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University and Chief Operating Officer of One-Eighty Ministries. He oversees Leadership Shepherding and Counseling in Men’s Ministry and teaches Fundamentals of the Faith and Biblical Counseling at Grace Community Church. He is originally from the Washington, D.C. area and has served in pastoral ministry and in leadership with several domestic and international parachurch organizations since 2008. Mark received his MABC degree from The Master’s University and became Certified with ACBC in 2016. He is an MDiv Student at The Master’s Seminary and is pursuing a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University as well. Mark and his wife Janet have two teenage children and they live in Southern California.
