John first came to The Master’s College from the under-appreciated state of New Jersey. He graduated from Master's with a B.A. in History, then spent two years working as an intern at New Hope Community Church in north-east Los Angeles. John also has extensive experience in Christian camp ministry, having spent many summers in leadership roles at Word of Life Fellowship (upstate New York). In 2005 he married Kelly, the girl he’d started dating as a student at TMC. Recently, John also obtained an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. He and Kelly moved back to Santa Clarita a few years ago to begin working at TMC, specifically focusing on international students and Third-Culture Kids (TCKs). They have two young children, Mark and Lydia. John enjoys spending time with his family, serving at his local church, teaching, hiking, reading, eating, fixing old cars, and playing bari sax with the TMC jazz band.
