I graduated from TMC in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. As I think back on my time at The Master’s College I can truly say that it was one of the best times of my life. I was challenged in ways I never thought possible and laughed more times than I thought a person could! I had the best, most dynamic and uplifting relationships, that I would never trade for the world. This place changed my life!
What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Ephesians 2:1-5 “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved “
I love this passage because I remember that I was once dead in my sins with no hope, and give thanks to God for saving me! What a merciful, amazing, and forgiving God I serve.
What a GREAT God we serve. What more could I say?
How did your college experience change you?
I grew so much during my time in college. I think I genuinely took my walk seriously and understood the importance of having people around me that would encourage me to look to Christ. Everywhere I went, I would be surrounded by people who were genuine and understood my same struggles. They were interested about my relationship with the Lord and cared about how the Lord was working through me. So college for me was something I treasure. I left having an eternal perspective on life and how I couldn’t live without having urgency. Christ had to be at the center of everything I did.
