As with other news, copy the body of the article into the Content section.
Fill in the summary but end without punctuation, as the ellipsis is added automatically.
Under the Properties tab, change the Template from NewsItem to NewsItemColumned. This step is temporary until we commit to this layout.
Under the Extras tab, enter the Page Title, News Author (which is added below the title automatically), the News Image (image on the left of the article), and the caption for the image (optional).
If you'd like to specify related articles, you may do that as well. This is not ready quite yet.
If you'd like the video embedded at the top, add the youtube video id (it's in the url).
To embed a video in the body, use this code:
<object height="380" width="610" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/_________?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1&autoplay=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_________?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1&autoplay=0" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_________?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1&autoplay=0" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object>
Select and copy the above code. Go to the news article body, and click on HTML. Find the location you want to plug the video into. The paragraph with be surrounded by <p> and </p>. These denote paragraphs. Paste the code between the ending </p> tag of one paragraph and the opening <p> tag of the next. Look for the three filler video ID's _________. There should be three. Replace the underscores with the video ID from the video's URL. Click "update" and save the page.
