Truth & Life Conference aims at pointing believers back to the Bible
The 2013 Truth & Life Conference, hosted by The Master’s College, is underway. From Jan 16-18, TMC President Dr. John MacArthur, along with noted Bible scholars and pastors Dr. Mark Dever and Dr. Sinclair Ferguson, will lead hundreds of attendees on campus – and hundreds more via live streaming online – into the depths of God’s Word to answer the question: How should I live?
The 2013 conference is aimed at helping Christians practically apply the truths of Scripture to their lives. If the Bible is the inerrant, authoritative Word of God – if it is the final say on all matters of life and godliness – how are believers in the 21st century to live that out? What does biblical truth look like in the life of a genuine follower of Christ?
The Master’s College provides the ideal setting for answering those questions. For more than 80 years, the college has stood on the sufficiency and authority of Scripture. Through decades of offering a biblically based liberal arts college education, it has equipped Christians to live for Christ in all vocations and across all spectrums of ministry.
The college’s Truth and Life Conferences began more than 15 years ago. It has traditionally drawn attendees from churches across the country. Recently, through live and on-demand Internet streaming, the conference has become available to watchers around the world.
Past conference themes have included Holiness, Proclaiming Christ: The True Gospel and The Love of God with expositors such as Kevin DeYoung, Ligon Duncan, R. C. Sproul, D.A. Carson, Irwin Lutzer, Al Mohler and Voddie Baucham.
