He graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in History, then spent two years working as an intern at New Hope Community Church in north-east Los Angeles. During that time he married Kelly, the girl he’d started dating as a student at TMC. Recently, John also obtained an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. He and Kelly moved back to Santa Clarita a few years ago to begin working at TMC, specifically focusing on international students and Third-Culture Kids (TCKs). They recently gave birth to their first child, Mark.

A Favorite Scripture Verse: 2 Peter 1:20-21

“…knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

Some Favorite Activities:

John enjoys spending time with his family, serving at his local church, teaching, hiking, reading, eating, fixing old cars, and playing bari-sax with the TMC jazz band.
