Mandatory Immunizations

The California Department of Public Health requires all students who are enrolled in college to submit proof of immunizations. The documentation should be submitted to The Master's University prior to attendance and must include the month and year that each vaccine was given. The documentation must be an official vaccine record from a medical provider, written in English.

Required Vaccinations

  • 2 doses of Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), or a blood test verifying immunity to MMR. Provide a copy of blood test results if you choose the second option.
  • 2 doses of Varicella (chickenpox)
  • 1 dose of Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap) in the last 10 years
  • See the Tuberculosis Screening in the Health Forms. If needed, the Tuberculosis/TB result must be current within the last year.  The test takes three days to complete so plan accordingly. If the student's result is positive, a chest x-ray result will be necessary before admittance.

Other Recommended Vaccinations

  • Annual flu vaccine
  • 1 dose of the Meningococcal vaccine on or after 16th birthday. If the student had the first dose before their 16th birthday, they must get another vaccine.
  • 3 doses of Hepatitis B

You may email, mail, or fax all immunizations and documentation to The Master's University Health Center.
