Lady Mustangs Shine at Oxy Invitational

EAGLE ROCK, Calif. – Competing in their final meet before toeing the line at the 2013 NAIA National Outdoor Track Championships, The Master’s College Lady Mustangs produced strong marks at the Oxy Invitational on Saturday.
Hannah Kellerman (Sartell, MN) competed in the 800 and 1500 meters. In the 800, Kellerman placed 17th in her section, finishing in 2 minutes and 16.46 seconds while in the 1500m, Kellerman’s time of 4:34.07 was good enough for an 11th-place finish.
Ayla Draper (Visalia, CA) represented the Lady Mustangs in both the 100 and 400 meter hurdles. In the 100, Draper placed 15th in her section in 15.29 seconds. Draper finished the 400H in 1:05.88.
Karis Frankian, Micayla Frankian, and Katrina Graham all raced in the 5000 meters. Karis Frankian placed 24th in her heat with a final time of 17:43.06, Graham followed in 18:27.58, and Micayla Frankian finished in 19:03.82.
Next up for the Lady Mustangs is the 2013 NAIA Track and Field Outdoor National Championships held in Marion, Indiana. The event will run May 23-25.
