2010: In her second year she'll be counted on to
stay active as a goal scorer...will find time at the forward
spot...should have a great run if she stays healthy...
2009: Had a solid first year for the Mustangs...The
hard working freshman earned herself a position up top with her
fiesty play and saw time in all 22 games...Proved herself a great
back-to-the-goal target player and recorded five goals and three
assists for 13 total points.
High School: Without a soccer team at her small
private school, Rachel played club soccer as her primary means of
competition...played for Alameda FC her freshman year and helped
the team win state and go on to Regionals....played for Rio Vista
FC the remainder of her high school years for Coach Simon
Rothman...again helped her team to a state championship in 2008,
allowing them to compete at regionals in Las Vegas...earned solid
competitive experience at the club level.
Personal: Parents are Jon and Lynn…has four
siblings, Tamara, Galen, Johanna, and Rebekah…chose TMC to continue
to play her favorite sport, to form precious relationships, and to
discover where she's headed... believes The Master's College is
where God wants her…favorite foods are Italian, and New
Mexican…favorite TV shows are "Friends" and "Psych"…favorite movies
include "Gladiator" and "The Fox and the Hound"…favorite books
include "Blue Like Jazz" and "The Count of Monte Cristo"…favorite
hobbies include cooking and skiing… career goal is "to become the
woman God desires me to be- whether that means I am single, fully
dependent on Him, and running my own business, or a wife and
mother. I know He will show me in time. The journey will be
extraordinary because our God is nothing less than amazing!"
