2010: The young player has found a good spot in
the back and will be a key piece of the Mustang defense as she
settles into her role this season...
2009: Kristyn plays great in the air, proving to
everyone that she can throw her body around with the best of
them...Spent time in almost every position this season putting in
one goal for good measure...
Desert Christian HS: Had a fantastic career at
Desert Christian…a four-year varsity player who garnered numerous
accolades…was named All-Desert League - Second Team in 2006...a
year later she moved up to the All-Desert League first team for
2007…continued to impress in 2008, not only repeating on the
All-Desert League first team, but adding All-Valley first team, and
All-CIF first team…finished at even greater heights in her senior
season, earning All-League first team and Desert League MVP, All-
Valley first team, Daily News All-Area Soccer Team second team, AV
Press Defensive Player of the Year, All-CIF first team, and
possibly the pinnacle, CIF Div. IV Defensive Player of the
Year…impressive off the field as well, was an AV Press Future
Leader Nominee for 2009, received the Mayor's Athlete of the Month
award (Lancaster, CA), and earned the AWANA Citation Award
2009.
Personal: Parents are Lance and Teresa…has two
siblings, Nicole and Shea…career goal is to earn a Master of
Science in Nursing and become an RN & Nurse
Practitioner…favorite foods are Mexican or Italian…favorite TV
shows are "CSI New York" and "Chuck"…favorite movies are "The
Proposal," "Finding Nemo," and "Ratatouille"…favorite book is
"Crazy Love" by Francis Chan…favorite hobbies are playing piano,
art and reading.
