LAWRENCE, Kan. – On Saturday, The Master’s College women’s cross country team finished 13th out of a field of 38 teams at the 35th Annual Women’s Cross Country National Championship at the historic Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Lady Mustangs clocked an overall team time of 1:36:35.00.
Leading the way for the 16th-ranked Lady Mustangs was Karis Frankian who placed ninth overall with a final time of 18:07.70. As the top 15 finishers earn NAIA All-American honors, Frankian nabbed the national honors for the second time in her collegiate career.
Notably, Frankian was the first GSAC athlete to finish at the NAIA National Championship.
Following Frankian, TMC’s Rachel Ingoldsby placed 64th overall with a final time of 19:06.50.
Now, the Lady Mustangs will take a few weeks off and then focus their efforts on the approaching 2015 track season.
