NAIA National Championship: Day 1

SILVIS, Ill. – At the end of the first round of the 66th Annual Men's Golf National Championships at TPC Deere Run Golf Club in Silvis, Illinois, The Master’s University golf team sits tied for 11th place after carding a collective score of 305.

Karsten Briley led TMU by shooting a 1-over 73 in the first round.  Close behind was Joseph Downey who carded a 76, while Samuel Eisenhuth finished with a score of 77.  Josh Delo ended the first day with a score of 79, while Robert Penalber carded a score of 82. 

Round two begins Wednesday morning at 8:40 a.m. (CDT) and has TMU paired with Point Park (Pa.) and five individual competitors. Fans can track the progress via live scoring here.
