Mustang Golf Competes at Battle At Primm

PRIMM, Nev.— In the Battle at Primm tournament, The Master’s College men’s golf team placed 10th out of a field of 17 teams with a collective score of 880 (293-295-292).

Oklahoma City University won the battle, finishing first with a score of 835 (282-282-271).

Notably, TMC finished first amongst teams from the Golden State Athletic Conference, beating 12th-place finisher Arizona Christian University by six strokes.

Joseph Downey (Santa Clarita, CA) finished first for the Mustangs with a score of 213 (69-71-73). The sophomore was part of a five-way tie for eighth-place.

Close behind was Samuel Eisenhuth (Embarras, MN), carding a score of 222 (73-73-76).

Joshua Delo (Mesa, AZ) finished with a score of 228 (85-73-70), while freshmen Joshua Gardella (Littleton, CO) and Hayden Nicholaides (Englewood, CO) had scores of 229 (74-82-73) and 231(77-78-76), respectively.

The team will resume competition in the GSAC Conference Championship at Gold Hills Golf Club in Redding, CA, held from April 13-14.
