Golf Ties For 11th In Battle At Primm

Primm, NV. – On Tuesday, The Master’s College golf team finished its time at the Battle at Primm tournament in Primm, Nevada.

At the end of three rounds, the Mustangs carded an overall score of 888 (293-298-297), tying for an 11th place finish.

“Our team, especially our freshmen, has been asked to do a lot this year, and we need to have everyone improving their games,” commented head coach Jason Semelsberger. “I feel this tournament shows we have more work to accomplish. I’m confident we’ll bounce back.”

Thane Ringler (Hutchinson, KS) lead TMC’s efforts by tying for ninth overall with a score of 214 (71-73-70).

Newcomer Josh Gardella (Littleton, CO) ended the tournament with a 222 (72-73-78) finish.

Now, the Mustangs look to finish the 2013-14 season April 5-6 with a trip to Florida to compete at the Bash at the Beach tournament on the greens of the LPGA International in Daytona, Florida.
