Golf’s Spring Schedule Announced

January 2, 2013

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Master’s College Athletic Department has released the 2013 golf spring schedule.

The Mustangs will continue their 2012-2013 campaign in a two-day event starting on February 4 as they compete in the CSU San Marcos Spring Invite held at the Shadowridge Country Club in Vista, California.

Exactly one month later, on March 4, the Mustangs will host their annual TMC Spring Invitational at the Robinson Ranch Golf Course in Canyon Country, California.

Later on their slate, the Mustangs will leave the confines of sunny southern California and travel to Primm, Nevada, and compete in the Battle at Primm, on March 25-26.  On April 6-7, the squad will make their way east to Daytona Beach, Florida, and participate in the Bash at the Beach, hosted by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on the grounds of the LPGA National Golf Course.

Finally, the Mustangs anticipate two separate trips to Oregon to cap off their schedule.  Their first trip will be to Monroe, Oregon, for the NAIA Regional Championships on April 15-16.  The second trip will be a four-day event in the 2013 NAIA Golf National Championships at the Creekside Golf Course in Salem, Oregon, on May 14-17.

Last year, TMC’s Thane Ringler was the Mustangs’ lone representative in the 2012 NAIA Golf National Championships, where he finished in the top 15 with an overall score of 7-over 295.
