2010-11: After off-season, labrum surgery, this
second-year player is ready to exhibit a package that made him one
of the top high school players in the state two years ago…a
scoring, playmaking athlete, he should be part of the regular
rotation…his success from the perimeter will keep defenses
honest…will play both the two and three…one of the club's top
defenders, especially in man-to-man matchups…displays a great
attitude with a no-excuses approach.
2009-10: The talented freshman showed great promise
despite fighting inconsistency related to shoulder problems…started
the first two games of the season, going for 10 points vs.
Southwestern of Arizona on 11/20/09… notched season-highs of four
rebounds and 18 points vs. William Jessup on 12/4/09, hitting seven
of his 10 shots from the field…handed out a season-best four
assists vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills on 12/8/09.
Temecula Valley HS: Played four years for the
Golden Bears, three of those as a starter on playoff teams for
Coach Rico Thompson…improved his numbers exponentially every year,
going from 11ppg as a sophomore to 15.2 as a junior and, finally,
to 24.5 in his senior year when he became the school's all-time
leading scorer (1347 points)…scored 30 or more points six times in
his senior year, including a career-high 35 vs. Chino Hills…named
All-Southwestern League his final three years and was voted league
MVP as a senior.
