2010-11: A long-range bomber extraordinaire, he
has made adjustments to his game and will present a more lethal
threat to opponents…has added a mid-range element and the ability
to put the ball on the floor to his repertoire…will start at the
two…becoming more adept at playing man defense…making better
decisions at both ends of the court…taking on more leadership
responsibilities.
2009-10: Living up to his reputation as a long-range
bomber, the freshman sharpshooter gave the squad a lethal outside
threat…came out blazing in his first five games, hitting 20 shots
from behind the arc…led the club in trifectas and finished third in
the GSAC…drained a season-best six treys vs. San Diego Christian on
12/12/09 en route to a season-high 20 points…scored in double
figures 13 times, including the first five games of his college
career…paced the club in thefts, highlighted by a pair of
four-steal outings.
Grace Christian HS: A four-year starter for Coach
Chuck Boerger, he led the Grizzlies to a quartet of winning seasons
and two post-season appearances…the most prolific scorer in school
history, he averaged in double figures in each of his four prep
campaigns and finished with 1720 points…averaged a career-high
22.6ppg in his senior year (2008-09), shot 80% from the line, and
was voted Alaska State Division 3A Player of the Year in addition
to first-team, all-state and Southcentral League MVP honors…the
previous year, he was a first-team, all-state choice, first-team
all-league, and voted to the state all-tournament team after
leading the Grizzlies (19-8) to the conference championship for the
second year in a row and a sixth-place showing in the state
tourney…averaged 15.8ppg and 4.3rpg…as a sophomore, he put up 17ppg
as the squad went 23-3, captured the conference championship, and
finished third at the state tournament…in 2005-06, he made more
than a successful transition to prep ball, scoring at a 12.4ppg
clip on a 16-9 squad.
