prove himself in the infield and outfield…should get some time at
both second and third bases, respectively…hits to all fields with a
steady stroke…has the potential for gap power…loves the game and
approaches it ready to learn.
Murrieta Valley HS: A two-year starter at third base for the
Nighthawks and Coach Scott Widner…batted .344 as a junior…in his
senior year, he hit .356 (.424 in league play), drove in 19 runs,
and had a .478 SLG%, leading the Nighthawks to the Southwestern
League title…named first-team All-Southwestern League and was
selected to the All-Valley team by local
writers.
