2011: Makes the move to the starting rotation with great
anticipation…by working both sides of the plate with excellent
command of his pitches, he has the ability to control a
game…possesses an arsenal of "out" pitches.
2010: First-year player made six starts in the field and 11
appearances, all in relief, on the mound…drove in his only run of
the season with a sacrifice fly vs. Berry of Georgia on
2/13/10…went 2-6 as a pinch hitter…whiffed 12 batters in 15.1
innings of work…picked up a save with one inning of scoreless
relief in a 4-3, 10-inning victory over Pt. Loma Nazarene on
4/15/10.
Timberline HS: One of the most decorated athletes in program
history, he left as the winningest pitcher (26-3) and strikeout
king (152)…played for Coach Larry Price and was on Wolves' teams
that qualified for the state tournament all four years, finishing
third in 2006 and second (27-4) in 2009…hit .404 in his sophomore
year (2007) with 20 rbi and went 7-1 on the mound with 31
strikeouts and a 2.14 ERA…named All-Southern Idaho Conference
first-team designated hitter…a year later, he hit .406, drove in 22
runs, and was undefeated (10-0) on the hill…struck out 54 batters
and fashioned a 1.64 ERA on the way to All-SIC first-team pitcher
honors…capped an outstanding prep career in 2009 by going 9-2 and
striking out 67 in 61 innings of work…swatted seven home runs,
drove in 39 runs, and batted .357…voted all-league at first
base…received a plaque on the Timberline Wall of Fame…played with
current TMC teammate Zack Anderson. |
