Dr. Kimberlyn Jones, Director

This spring, The Master's College Opera Workshop will be performing Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta, H.M.S. Pinafore. The story takes place aboard the British ship H.M.S. Pinafore. The captain's daughter, Josephine, is in love with a lower-class sailor, Ralph Rackstraw, although her father intends her to marry Sir Joseph Porter, the First Lord of the Admiralty. When Sir Joseph arrives aboard ship with an entourage of sisters, cousins, and aunts, comedy ensues as the characters learn that things aren't always as they seem.
